Yokosuka to Keikyu Kawasaki

Postby mahadev on Thu Aug 13, 2009 4:46 pm

A friend of mine will be visiting NTT in Yokosuka. He would like to travel from there to Keikyu Kawasaki/Kamata to visit me. I have no idea about what line he can take and how much time it takes to Kawasaki from Yokosuka.

Does anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance.

I've only used the trains a few times but I think you take the Keikyu line at Yokosuka Chou station and get off at the Yokohama station and take the Shonan-Shinjuku line to Shin-Kawasaki station. Yokosuka to Kawasaki should take less than 30 mins. If you take the Black Kanji train at Yokosuka Chou station, it takes longer because that train stops at every stop in between but if you take the Green Limited Express train at Yokosuka Chou, it's pretty quick (doesnt stop at every station, only major station but Yokohama is a major station.) Hope this helps!
